Fault Code P04 Toshiba: Compressor Fault — Diagnosis
Fault code P04 is a physical safety triggered by the high-pressure switch on the Toshiba outdoor unit. The pressure has exceeded the critical threshold. The same logic applies to wall-mounted air conditioning units or RAV heat pumps.

Toshiba fault code 04: Serial communication fault (S3 link)
Code 04 is the most common fault on Toshiba units. It indicates a missing signal on the serial communication line (terminal S3) between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit.

Fault Code 07 Toshiba Seiya: Overheating — Solution
Fault code 07 is often related to a feedback problem (sensor/communication) or component operation (depending on series). Diagnosis involves checking connectors, power supply and associated parts.
14 • Digital Inverter / Super Digital
Fault Code 14 Toshiba: Compressor — Diagnostic Steps
Fault code 14 indicates that the inverter circuit has detected an abnormally high current. This is a major protection to prevent burning out the compressor or the board.
A01 • Estia (Air/Eau)
Fault code A01 Toshiba Estia: Water flow fault
Specific to Estia Air/Water heat pumps, code A01 indicates that the flow controller does not detect sufficient water circulation to transfer heat.
1C • Digital Inverter
Fault code 1C Toshiba: Compressor control fault
Similar to code 14 but more 'control' oriented, code 1C indicates that the PCB cannot control the compressor correctly from start-up.
P10 • Cassette / Ducted
Fault code P10 Toshiba: Condensate pump fault
Fault code P10 appears on units with a condensate pump (cassette, ducted) when the safety float switch detects a critical water level in the drip tray.
1E • RAV / Estia
Fault code 1E Toshiba: Excessive discharge temperature
Code 1E is a critical safety: the temperature measured at the compressor outlet (TD sensor) exceeds the limit (often > 110°C).
0d • Seiya / Shorai
Fault code 0d Toshiba: Indoor heat exchanger sensor (TC)
Fault code 0d indicates a problem with the temperature sensor clipped onto the indoor unit heat exchanger (TC sensor). It is used for cooling and overheating management.
